What is PACE?
​PACE
Plano Academic and Creative Education (PACE) is focused on developing creative and higher level thinking. For more information about what we're doing in each grade level, click on the links above. For more information about the PACE program, you can visit the Plano ISD PACE website.
If you referred your child for testing this school year, letters about placement for current first through fifth grade students were mailed mailed to your home on April 11th. Students who qualify for PACE will begin receiving services in the PACE program at the beginning of the next school year.

​Who is Ms. Smith?
​
Ms. Smith grew up in Louisiana and West Virginia. She received her Bachelor degree in Elementary Education from Louisiana Tech University and her Master of Education from Southern Methodist University. She taught fourth and fifth grades before teaching PACE. This is her sixth year as a Rasor Rocket, and she is excited about working with the Rasor students. As the PACE Specialist, she encourages all students to think with creativity and depth.
