We live daily in the era of Covid-19, the uncertainties of its impact on our future in various aspects of our lives. We are facing a crisis in multiple areas of our lives:
1. Spiritual - Religious life and relationship with God disrupted, challenging our patterns of involvement
2. Social - Lack of fellowship for us humans who are social creatures, affecting our mental health
3. Economic - Loss of jobs and economic opportunities for our brothers and sisters
4. Health - Lives of our friends and loved ones are at risk
Thankfully, God’s Word speaks powerfully to our current crisis in the life of Hezekiah. King Hezekiah offers a compelling set of lessons in his responses to the challenges during his reign. We will explore how he prayed and allowed God to bring him to victory, despite the fears that he had.
The series spans 4 weeks post Easter. Each week, we will first begin by listening to a section of Hezekiah’s life in our Sunday sermons. During the week, we will have small group sessions to dive deeper into the section, so that we can make the learnings personal in our daily lives.
We encourage everyone to participate in this 4-week series to regain our momentum, and live in this pandemic with strength and faith.
