Comfy Fitness + Acts of Ritual are once again hosting a full Day of Healing where participants will take on loving and being in AWE of their bodies. Whether you're looking to amplify the bounty this Summer has already delivered, or you're looking to coax it into existence, this space is created for you.
 
Each class is 75 minutes and offers a completely original healing experience. Choose classes ala carte or stay the whole day! Snacks, refreshments and CHOCOLATE will be provided!!

Due to the circumstances of our lives and traumas we've undergone and overcome, our muscular programming gets off track. If we don't (re)educate our systems, ultimately this can cause pain, or worse, immobility.

You will start this class with a series of Pilates exercises while observing closely the operation of your body. Then you will be taken through a series of exercises meant to re-educate the functionality of your spine and core called Pandiculation. You will once again go through the series of exercises we started with, observing the adaptability of your body, and be introduced to a more accurate account of your true strength and capability!

Biofield Tuning uses tuning forks and frequency to help the body release unneeded physical/emotional patterns. This 2-part Biofield Tuning session addresses the patterns that keep us from relaxing completely and experiencing more pleasure in our daily lives or with our partners. Part one will relax the hips and pelvis; part two will encourage the ability to feel more.This is great to do prior to Anna's Forrest Yoga session.

Join Anna for a Forrest Yoga practice designed to help you reform your relationship to pleasure. Experience how generating pleasure and allowing yourself to feel it fully can help unravel tension you have been carrying inside your body. You will receive guidance on how to find pleasure by breathing deeply, turning on your core, and releasing the neck, jaw, hips, and pelvic floor. A delight for your senses, this practice is for everyone, and only asks that you come open and willing to give yourself the highest quality of breath, attention, and the space to soak up all the satisfaction, enjoyment, and pleasurable sensations that arise for you.

We seem to soak up stress like sponges, as if it's our natural way of reacting to the littlest and biggest of life's challenges.Our bodies DO have a built in mechanism for releasing stress before it gets to a breaking point, but it has long been suppressed.

In this class, you will learn a series of exercises that allows you to access and reclaim your body's natural tension taming abilities. You will discover how to recalibrate your nervous system for better emotional, mental and physical well-being. You will leave this class empowered with a self-administered, at-home method for stress release!

Participants will be lead through meditation and access to Reiki energy healing, connecting the body to source energy as a tool for finding expansion. With the support of source energy and grounding techniques we'll tap into our internal resources. We'll learn from the wisdom of the incoming breath that renews us, reminding us that pleasure is found in the release of our exhale. We'll find the inherent relaxation that is our body's natural state of being bringing us into deeper states of presence and balancing the body's Chakra system. An essential oil blend mixed with the intention for renewal will be administered for those interested.

Special Instructions

- Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow for max comfort! If you don't have your own mat, a few will be available for use.

- No latecomers will be admitted to classes. Feel free to arrive 10 minutes early!

- A 45 minute lunch break is built into the schedule for full-day participants. Feel free to pack a lunch and eat in the space or walk to a neighborhood spot for a bite.
