Ride for the Future is a motorcycle rally to raise awareness for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Detroit Lakes & Perham and the programs and activities it provides for 850+ youth in Becker & Otter Tail Counties in Minnesota.
Come ride with us in our 2nd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Detroit Lakes & Perham Ride for the Future!
This event promises to be fun for motorcycle enthusiasts that wish to support our goals to help local children succeed academically, socially, and civically. Our ride focuses on raising community awareness of our mission and our work. Come learn about us - we would love to have you along!
Ride for the Future will take place on Saturday, July 13, 2013. Event-day registration and check-in will begin at the Detroit Lakes Pavilion in Detroit Lakes, MN at 10:30 a.m. All participants (passengers, too!) MUST check-in at the registration table to sign a liability and event waiver.
The first 50 participants to check-in at the Pavilion will receive a gift.
Our group will depart together from the Pavilion at 11:30 a.m. A 100-mile route has been planned that will take us through our beautiful Minnesota lakes country north and east to Ice Cracking Lodge for gas and lunch, then south for a rest at the Hostel Hornet in Frazee, then north and west toward Cotton Lake and back to the Pavilion in Detroit Lakes. You can find a map of the route below.
Like in 2012, we will offer opportunities for you to win cool prizes in drawings along the stop. Plan to hang out with us all day because you must be present to win the prizes!
The cost for the ride is $20 per bike + $10 per 2-up and includes lunch at Ice Cracking Lodge. Riders and passengers can register three ways:
All riders and passengers must check-in at the Pavilion on July 13 to complete a liability waiver prior to departure.
