Red Rubies Drill Team Interest Form 2025-2026
Thinking about joining the CHS Red Rubies Drill Team? The Rubies are accepting students in grades 8-12 for the 2025-2026 year. 

The Cuyahoga Heights Red Rubies Drill Team are looking for new members to join our high energy performance team for the 2025-2026 season! Our team performs during halftime at home and away varsity football games with other performance opportunities throughout the year. As a drill team, the Rubies perform in a variety of styles including jazz/pom dance, color guard and baton. 

Joining the Red Rubies at CHS means joining in tradition. In 2022, CHS Music Dept expand the existing flag-line and majorette program and develop a high energy performance team that performs more than just on game day. Becoming a member of the Red Rubies Drill Team requires a serious commitment and responsibility. As a member of the Rubies, you represent school spirit, CHS athletic teams and the entire district. Rubies are some of the most visible ambassadors of our school.

We are excited for the interest in the Red Rubies for the upcoming season. It is important that applicants to be aware of the responsibilities of each member of the team and band, the purpose of the Rubies and the way we function. The Rubies purpose is to support CHS, student events and sporting events. Like every sport, dancers are expected to maintain academic standards and exhibit exemplary behavior. Due to the responsibilities of the team, we are looking for well rounded students, who embrace the ability to be coached, support teamwork and always strive to learn and improve.

Attendance and participation is required at ALL practices, performances, camps, community performances, fundraisers and community service activities. This means at least 2 practices throughout the week (with more added as needed) and every football game throughout the fall, where the season regularly goes into November. GO RED WOLVES! Please join us for our team info meeting, Wednesday, April 30 from 3:00-4:00 in the Orchestra Room. We will go over everything you need to know about being part of the team, answer questions, learn a few fun skills and discuss summer and fall schedules!
