The gallery is currently showing work by Mitchell, H. R. Giger and H. Natalevičius. See www.darkblackart.com / for details.
A gigapan of the Giger room is here: tinyurl.com/giger661 .
Unfortunately the work by Natalevičius is not in focus, so I have included a separate image here: www.gigapan.org/viewGigapan.php?id=13763.
To see what goes on behind the brown door, see tinyurl.com/5lfyot .
To see some of Mitchell's earlier work, see tinyurl.com/6fvpcm .
For those of you interested in gigapan applications, see www.myspace.com/darkblackart for a good use of embedded gigapans.

You need to email the National Gallery, www.nationalgallery.org.uk/about/c ontact.htm and the National Portrait Gallery, www.npg.org.uk/live/index.asp  ; and for sure, email John Soanes Museum, the one off of Lincoln's Inn Fields, www.soane.org /. Introduce yourself to them as the Hogarth of Bath. www.soane.org/soanehogarths.htm&nb sp;-compared to- www.byteswithbite.co.uk/kilgore/or g/pano-index1.html

This is going to happen. Mitchell will have a solo exhibition at the Horse Hospital in London at the end of May 2009. We plan to have interactive and/or rolling demo gigapans on a big screen. In contrast, the curator of a local gallery was so disinterested in the idea that he did not even bother to click on the links to gigapans in the email I sent him.

Recently, there have been a number of "gallery" GigaPans and this one adds a new dimension. I would hope that one day, a GigaPan would be allowed into a London gallery or even a London Museum or any other Museum, with the result being something special as an educational tool for children around the world.

Isn't it just? I feel privileged to have been able to shoot here - and in the Giger room too. I really must thank the lady who introduced me to the artist.
