Cavell Primary and Nursery School does not want or need academisation. We are concerned for the future of our school and believe it should be run by educators, not businesses. We want to retain the links our school has  to the local community and other local schools. We want the voice of the parents to be respected and to retain our democratic right to have a say in the running of the school. We believe that the leadership of the school has stepped up to the challenges and that significant improvements have been and continue to be made; they should be allowed more time to build on them and to pursue the proposed co-operative trust with other local schools, which the majority of parents are in favour of.
