The 204 Dundee bus route is under threat of closure. This is the only route serving the people of Magdalen Yard Road in the west end and connects the local community not only to the town centre but, crucially, to Ninewells hospital. It is in essence a lifeline for the community, especially the elderly who cannot scale the heights of Windsor Street and Step Row to Perth Road services and bus routes. They would in essence become socially isolated and disconnected from services.
