VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENTS
Please select the role(s) you're interested in volunteering. Continental Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers. Parking is free on the campus parking lot.
VOLUNTEER OPTIONS:
INTERVIEW / SPEECH JUDGES. Judges must be willing to stay the full day, 8:15 am - 3:00 pm.
INTERVIEW JUDGE. As a judge, you will be paired with 1–2 other judges to ask students a series of questions in an interview setting and score them using a rubric. Must be 19 years of age or older and not enrolled in high school to volunteer for this position.
SPEECH JUDGE. As a judge, you will be paired with 1–2 other judges and use a rubric to score students' prepared and impromptu oral speeches. An orientation will be provided the day before judging begins. Must be 19 years of age or older and not enrolled in high school to volunteer for this position.
TIMEKEEPER/ROOM MONITOR. You will keep time for prepared and impromptu speeches or serve as a room guide. This position is open to volunteers high school age and older.
SUPER QUIZ PROCTOR. 3:00 - 4:30 PM. A Super Quiz Proctor monitor students as they participate in a series of questions in front of a live audience. Orientation provided just prior to the start of Super Quiz.
GENERAL ASSISTANCE. If you are unable to stay the full day as a Judge, we welcome your help in the morning and/or afternoon with general tasks to be assigned that day.
