Hey guys, SomeKraigGuy here. If you want me to run a race looking like something out of the 80s then you’re gonna have to help me out! I’ve signed up with Team In Training and agreed to raise $2000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada but I need your help. This will be a gradual process where the more you help me raise the more of this outfit I will have to wear. It’s all pretty simple:

$500 will result in socks
$750 will be when the shorts are added
$1000 is when I’ll have to add the wristbands and headband
$1500 becomes the point of no return. The mesh jersey is added.
$2000 I will finalize the ensemble with the mullet and sunglasses.

However, just incase you guys are eager beavers, if you are able to help me go beyond $2500 then I will shave my beard and rock a nice thick mustache to go along with it all!!

With all of that being said, the race that all of this coincides with is the Calgary Marathon on June 1st, 2014. They are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year and for this one time only are hosting a 50k.

I’ve also just recently obtained a GoPro and plan on bringing it with me during the race to capture this whole thing. So it’s entirely up to you how embarrassed I will get.
