
Bryan Shen is a professional counsellor and supervisor registered in Singapore. He is also an independent lay missionary since 1997. He speaks, teaches, and counsels in Thai or English. Besides counselling Singaporeans, he has done much counselling work with seminarians in religious training houses in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. At present, he is sought by many conservative-religious communities and institutions to provide educational talks and training to remove misconceptions and prejudices. He also gives training to professional counsellors in these countries mentioned. Bryan continues to update himself through detailed case studies, professional conferences and training, and discussions with leading therapists and professionals in the US, Asia and Europe, and is also a General Board Member of The International Federation for Therapeutic and Counselling Choice.

The webinars explain why the feelings of non-heterosexuality are not chosen by people who experience them, the factors that contribute to them, and the various ways harm can be done, including quack therapies. It aims to remove fear, prejudice, and misconceptions, and suggests appropriate responses each community can take. It is in line with the precepts of all major religious faiths.
