Masters in Computer Science graduate, Six Sigma and Java OCJP certified professional working in IT Industry for more than 3.5 years.
Little more about me,
I Quality Engineer, would like to take up ownership in helping to build automation and testing that will ensure high quality releases. I have sound expertise in Data Structure and Algorithms and object-oriented concepts. I like to break code also help them to debug the code/issue. Automating repetitive tasks and building testing framework is my favorite skillsets. I have mentored my peers in order to understand the application more concisely. I have worked with a diverse set of critical teams and delivered quality of products to respective clients. I have worked in fast paced environment where releases would be of 2-3 weeks. As well as working in steady environment where releases happened 3 times a year.
My daily routine:
Driving and attending daily stand ups by following Agile /Scrum methodology.
Helping Developers /Stakeholders to understand testing functionality and requirements.
Closely work with Operational/ Dev team to track code elevation environment.
Developing, debugging, maintaining and organizing test scripts, test plans, test cases / feature files for desktop browser/mobile web & mobile apps.
Providing scope, resource and time estimates for projects presented for testing and analysis.
Identifying and managing issues/defects for each assigned project.
Making available test status and progress reports to the project team.
API testing.
Working on automation testing framework and enhance as and when functionality added.
Enhancing the testing framework and add them in existing regression cycle with latest version.
Working on technologies such as Java, Selenium Web driver, TestNg, JUnit, Git, SVN, Postman, SoapUI, Swagger, Jenkins, Travis CI, SQL, MySQL, Cucumber-Gherkin, QTP, VB script.
Essentials:
Designing and developing automation code for web-based applications in Selenium/Cucumber using Java, JavaScript, or other object-oriented programming language.
Familiarity with cloud development environments, including API design and integration. Tested API using SOAP UI, Swagger API testing tools.
Implemented Design pattern – Page Object Model using BDD as well as Data-Driven approach from scratch.
Implemented API testing framework using HTTP client Libraries from basic.
Implemented functionality using JIRA client in order to create defects in JIRA after automation test case fails using Java, TestNg libraries.
Developed test Strategy, test plan and test cases for the projects.
Perform routine, smart and focused, exploratory manual tests based on what you identify as high-risk areas.
Drive and run daily stand ups whenever required and provided Demo to the clients after the functionality build /testing and running for approval.
Develop, execute, and maintain manual tests in parallel with product software development.
Verifying features and enhancements using white and black box methodologies, with emphasis on identifying and debugging issues.
Investigating and analyzing root causes of technical issues and performance bottlenecks so as to provide sufficient data to engineering to help pinpoint problem areas in the system.
Implemented and scheduled Jenkins pipelines and jobs of continuous integration process – Jenkins, Travis CI and performed unit testing.
Implemented validation rules for the test cases, which include querying Oracle database and confirming the values displayed on the screen.
Working knowledge of DevOps technologies: AWS, Azure, Docker containers.
Run ETL jobs in order to get the test data from source to destination using Informatica.
Experience in applying different software testing techniques, such as equivalence class partitioning, boundary value testing, pairwise testing.
Designed and developed Test Cases, Expected Results and prioritized tests for the applications and defect tracking using HP Quality Center.
Reviewed and approved software test cases, test specifications, user requirement specifications, and software validation protocols & reports.
Review product requirement, functional specifications, and involved in developing test strategy, test plan and test cases documents.
Lead QA projects provided QA sign offs before moving live/ production.

Positive attitude towards work helped me to grow and learning attitude helped me to gain as much as knowledge as I can.
Apart from QA skillset, I like to explore things by my own self and not giving up attitude keep me to love things what I do.
