The definitive reissue of an album equal parts pastoral folk and contemplative psychedelic; perhaps the reason the term âacid-folkâ exists; one of rockâs rarest and most sought-after albums. The first time since 1971 that this album has been pressed from the original master tapes, recently discovered in Italy. Lacquered directly from tape in an all-analog transfer by Bernie Grundman on Now-Again Records

While Duster went into hibernation in the year 2000, Clay Partonâs four-track never stopped rolling. Recorded alone at home over several years, Birds In The Ground is an album of 30-something, post-9/11 malaise. Under his Eiafuawn (Everything Is All Fucked Up And What Not) acronym, Parton hides beneath layers of fuzzy and clean guitars, his hesitant, cottony vocal disappear into noise. This deluxe pressing is packaged in a gorgeous tip on sleeve and includes the complete lyrics for this cryptic entry of the Dusterverse. Numero Group.

Endless Skyways is Bobby Leeâs third full album and second release on Tompkins Square. Returning to the full band sound of his debut, the name âEndless Skywaysâ is borrowed from a line in Woody Guthrieâs This Land Is Your Land, one of the cornerstones of American music. That songâs mix of the terrestrial (âribbons of highwayâ) and celestial consciousness encapsulates Leeâs brand of widescreen cosmic americana; a duality also evident in the albumâs split between deep-fried rural rock and ambient country. Dusty boots but third eye open. Tompkins Square

Indies Turtle Shell Green marble vinyl
In July of 2022, just one month before jaimie branchâs death sent shockwaves around the world, the trumpet player and composer was in Chicago at International Anthem (IARC) studios putting finishing touches on an album. In her wake, the album was near complete, with only mixing tweaks, final titles, and artwork to be fully realized. In the months following, her family (led by sister Kate Branch), her band (Jason Ajemian, Lester St. Louis, Chad Taylor) banded together to gather memories, texts, emails, photographs, artwork and fragments belonging to jaimie to light the path forward. The goal was always to do what jaimie would have done. Packaged in stunning artwork by John Herndon, Damon Locks, and branch herself, Fly or Die Fly or Die Fly or Die ((world war)) is jaimieâs final album with the quartet.
