Join us for the Stream Explorers Youth Adventure on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm at the Ashokan Center in Olivebridge, NY. Registration begins at 8:30 am. Residents of the Ashokan Watershed are preferred but participants must be residents of Ulster County.
This year's event is designed for kids in grades 3 through 7 and will include a variety of "hands-on", outdoor environmental stream-related activities. Topics include:
- Investigating stream ecosystems and dynamics
- Esopus Gorge hike and waterfall exploration
- Using scientific methods to assess stream health
- Water-related games and activities
The fee for this exciting day of fun-filled stream science activities is only $10 per person if paid by March 16, and $15 per person thereafter, which includes lunch.
Pre-registration with payment is required by April 6. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
