Sedation dentists, their staff, and their patients are invited to participate in the one-hour briefing that will feature noted experts discussing newly proposed revisions to the American Dental Association’s “Guidelines for the Use of Sedation and General Anesthesia by Dentists.”

If the guidelines, as proposed, are adopted by the ADA’s House of Delegates at the group’s annual meeting in November 2015, it will have a dramatic impact on the dental profession, as well as important repercussions for dental patients nationwide.

The free teleconference will feature a panel of experts including regulatory attorney John Bitting, a leading authority on dental sedation; and Dr. Michael D. Silverman, co-founder of DOCS Education and a globally recognized lecturer, educator, author, and patient right’s advocate.

Dean Rotbart, a prize-winning investigative journalist and director of TEAM 1500, will serve as moderator of the teleconference.
