The Sexual Violence Prevention Association (SVPA) and Equality Now are conducting research on technology-facilitated sexual exploitation and abuse (TFSEA) in the United States. This research will shed light on the experiences of victims and inform effective strategies to support survivors and develop prevention measures.
We are interviewing survivors across the country about their experiences with TFSEA. If you are interested, please complete this form.
About the Research
The data collected will contribute to a detailed report that will be shared with stakeholders in advocacy, policy, and technology. Our research has the following three goals:
Understand the problem's scope by gathering firsthand accounts of TFSEA.
Identify effective support strategies to improve outcomes for survivors.
Develop prevention measures to mitigate harm caused by technology misuse.
Participant Eligibility

Online grooming
Live-streaming of sexual abuse
Child sexual abuse materials (CSAM)
Online sexual coercion and extortion
Online sex trafficking
Image-based sexual abuse (nonconsensual explicit images, videos, or deepfakes)
