    This was a life changer for me. Every school should have copies of this for the girls so they know how to navigate dating! A "boy" version should be written, so the boys know how to pursue with excellence, not try to get away with was much as they can, in ignorance. The best book i ever read in my life on the subject of dating and being pursued. Bethany is the most gifted youth group leader for women, and a world changer!!! She is like the cute young woman version of Jimmy Evans!!! If i was Bill Gates, I would buy crates and crates of these, and put them in every school and university and all the wonderful places young people gather, because it teaches a girl how to do the dance, how to be pursued by the man she fancies. It is not full of ridiculous stories of not kissing the man till you're married, which isn't very likely, but it leaves the girl knowing she is the PRIZE to be pursued, and she knows a genuine desirable man--hes pursuing her--so she can be happy as the pursuit ensues!! I can tell you how much peace this book gave me, 'cause now i know how to do the dance of romance!

    To be honest, the title was not what attracted me (I thought it was kinda corny), it was the table of contents. This book was so good. It opened my eyes to how little I valued myself. While I've never been in a relationship before, I had often found myself being the relational aggressor and pursuing guys in subtle ways in the hopes that they would see me as worthy. Reading this book solidified the truth in my heart. It's not my job to prove my worth to men. I am worthy, valued, beautiful and precious because God has called me so. The man that will one day be my husband will see that! In the meantime, it is my job to be awesome, to follow the will of God for my life and enjoy this season of singleness! I loved how transparent she is about the choices she made in her relationship with her boyfriend who is now husband. I laughed, swooned and squealed as she spoke about the ways in which her husband pursued her. This book reminded me of how valuable I am, and how I don't need to lower my expectations when it comes to a guy pursuing me. I am valuable, I am beautiful and I am worth being pursued. I will except nothing less. This is not arrogance, nor is it conceit. It is confidence. Knowing who I am to God ensures that I will not cheapen myself in the quest for love. I recommend this book to not just teenage girls (although that seems to be the target audience), but also young women my age (I'm 23) and even mothers and older women who frequently interact with teenage girls and young women.

    I absolutely love this book!

    Although I'm a Christian, I'm outside of the demographic for this because I'm married and in my early thirties. However, I met the author at a writers conference, and I was drawn to her contagious joy and her sincerity. I would read anything she writes because I know she has such a heart for young women.

    The main theme of this book is that, from a relationship standpoint, God designed women to be pursued, and men are designed to do the pursuing. I really appreciate her statement that if we pursue men and "get" them, then we'll always wonder if they really wanted us or if they settled. This isn't just counter-cultural, it's almost blasphemous in today's society. But the author backs up her statements with Scriptures, her experience ministering to young ladies, and her own beautiful love story.

    Unlike a lot of other books, this isn't about promoting a conservative agenda; it's about understanding God's will for our lives and learning how to honor Him regardless of our marital status. I was divorced at a young age, and I can't help but wonder if this book could have steered me in a different direction had I read it in middle school.

    If you're a teenager or single adult, I encourage you to read this book! If you have young girls at home, you can read it together and go through through the Study Guide in the back. Either way, you'll find this book encouraging, thought-provoking, and potentially life changing.

    As a teenager, I often find myself around other relationships. Often, those relationships are not great examples of how relationships should be. This book is a great reminder to the Christian young ladies of how to make a relationship that is God-based, truly love-based, and hopefully a "Happily Ever After." Although I don't agree with all of Bethany's opinions, I think every Christian girl will definitely benefit from reading this book. Like any book/movie/media we put into our heads, we just have to make sure to take things with a grain of salt and ask God to show us what is right for us.

    I am one who avoids reading at all costs. I could not put this down. There are so many wonderful thoughts, ideas, stories, and life lessons in this book. The best part about all of it is that Bethany Jett talks to you like the person you are. She doesn't write in a way that you may or may not understand, and she doesn't treat you like a child. Bethany treats you like a friend, more so like a best friend. As you read, it is as though you are in a conversation with a dear old friend that you don't want to speak during in fear that it will bring the conversation to an end. I was saddened when it ended, but so pleased with what I read. I will definitely be buying a physical copy of this for my bookshelf that I can keep going back to as well as one to share. Seriously, it's worth the time, money, and investment. Just read the first chapter and you will be hooked. I know I was.
