Troy Philippines' Pilipino American Cultural Night is an evening of performances aimed at spreading Philippine cultural awareness to the surrounding community.  This student-run production showcases renditions of authentic Philippine folk dances pulled from various regions of the Philippines, from the Spanish-influenced waltzes in Luzon to the Muslim-inspired dances of the Moro people in Mindanao.  The folk dances are intertwined with a captivating skit and vocal performances, making it a night full of entertainment for all people interested in celebrating and embracing the beautiful Philippine culture.
"Puri at Pamilya Natin" follows two Filipino families in Los Angeles learning to deal with the challenges of upholding traditional Filipino values in American society. The De La Cruz family represents the generation of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans who continue to value traditionalism, where their well-being is highly regarded by their success.  On the other hand, the Pagbabago family has endured backlash from Filipino values and now strives to uphold Western morals and attain happiness at all costs. Living in America, both families struggle to let go of what they know or accept change when complications arise. In a matter of months, each family member faces the true nature of their relationship with their family and themselves. Will there ever be a defining line between the two cultures?
