Reminders:
Students must be in dress code for all senior events (i.e. clean shaven, natural hair colors, no facial piercings, etc.)
Deadline to order Senior Caps and Gowns.
All Seniors must have a cap, gown and tassel.

Senior Portrait Sessions Begin
Deadline: February 21, 2025
Senior cap and gown photos will be taken by the VHS Journalism department beginning November 6, 2024.
Sessions will begin November 6. Students should check their school email for appointment times and listen to the announcements.
Cap and gown photos will be taken in the CTE studio.
Cap & gown will be provided for photos. Please wear a white or black shirt for your session. Students must be in dress code for photos.
VHS Journalism department will edit these photos and send them to senior parents via THEIR email address. You will be able to use these photos as you wish. Please have your parent's email address prior to the session.
These sessions are a courtesy of VHS and the CTE department, and are provided free of charge.

For Senior publications & Senior Night, please submit:
3 baby photos
8 - 10 photos of you growing up with friends and/or family
2 casual senior photos
Any funny videos of you and your friends
Email all photos/videos to Mrs. Germany (jgnuffsaid@yahoo.com)
For larger files, send via mailbigfile.com to jgnuffsaid@yahoo.com.
*Please be sure to put your name and "Senior Pictures" in the subject line.
Hard copies may also be submitted to the Journalism Department.
NHS Induction Ceremony
National Honor Society Induction will be held on March 10 at 6:30 PM in the VHS Cafeteria.

VHS Junior/Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Picker's Pavilion in Lindale.

Academic Banquet
The VISD Education Foundation will honor the Top 10% of graduates at the Academic Banquet on Monday, May 5, at 6:30 PM at Hide-A-Way Lake.
Ag Banquet
The Ag Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 8, at 6:00 PM in the VHS Cafeteria.
Athletic Banquet
The VHS Athletic Banquet will be held on Monday, May 12, at 6:00 PM in the VHS Cafeteria.
Senior Walk & Senior Picture
8:15 AM - All seniors will meet in the gym foyer for cap and gown pick-up.
If you ordered a cap & gown, tassels are included with your order.
If you're borrowing a cap & gown from a previous graduate, you must purchase a tassel on the morning of Senior Walk. Tassels will cost approximately $15 - $20.
Following cap & gown pick up, ALL SENIORS will ride the bus to the stadium for photos.
Senior Walk at JE Rhodes, VIS, VMS, and VJH will follow photos.
College Signing Day
College Signing Day will be held on Wednesday, May 14, at 10:30 AM in the VHS Cafeteria.
Attire: Seniors should wear a college shirt that represents the college they plan on attending.
Seniors should arrive by 10:00 AM to line up in the cafeteria foyer.
Senior Night
Senior Night will be held on Thursday, May 15, at 7:00 PM in the VISD Auditorium.
Seniors should arrive by 6:45 PM.
Attire: Nice dress attire within dress code guidelines
Senior Trip
Seniors will be traveling to Top Golf on Friday, May 16.
Depart VHS - 8:15 AM
Lunch will be provided; students may bring money for additional food/drinks
Attire: Casual within dress code guidelines
Arrive back at VHS by 3:30 PM

Seniors will meet at the football stadium at 9:00 AM.

Graduation Practice
Graduation practice will be held on Thursday, May 22, at the football stadium, and is MANDATORY for all seniors to participate in the Graduation Ceremony.
Arrive by 8:30 AM at the Field House

Graduation will be held at 8:00 PM on Friday, May 23, at the football stadium.
Arrive by 7:00 PM at the Field House
Attire: full cap and gown
Boys: Black or gray dress pants or nice jeans; Nice shirt; No t-shirts or shorts
Girls: Nice dress or pants (dark or black pants; dresses can be any color); No t-shirts, crop tops or shorts
