Camp Kikthawenund
This is the online registration for Cub Scout Packs and Webelos Dens to register online for the Pirate Invasion Webelos Encampment.
This event is Pirate themed and Webelos are expected to costume up in Pirate costumes. Parents and pack leaders are encouraged to join in the spirit of this activity and come as superheroes.
Please carefully review this information.
Webelos Encampment is hosted by the Quanasita Chapter of the Order of the Arrow and is planned, organized and led by the youth members of the Order of the Arrow.
The Encampment fee is $12 for each Webelos, parent or staff. Your Encampment fee pays the camp fee, supplies, Encampment patches, ribbons, meals for the volunteer staff, and more.
You will pay by check or cash when you register on Friday evening, October 6. Please do not forget your pack check, if you pay by check.
Packs or dens are not to arrive at Camp Kikthawenund before 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 6. The camp gates will be locked until the staff is onsite and prepared to open registration. Packs may not arrive early in the day to set up camp. Campsites will be assigned based on number of people attending per pack.
Packs must register all dens, Webelos and leaders as one unit on Friday evening. It is important that you coordinate arriving at camp and meeting in the parking lot before registering. Everyone from your pack must be at camp before registering and setting up camp.
Each pack is allowed one parking pass for one vehicle to carry gear from the parking lot to the campsite. You must register first to get your parking pass. Any gear that won't fit in the vehicle will need to be transported to the campsite in the camp provided rickshaw carts.
Special arrangements will need to be made for any adult who is not physically able to walk at camp. Vehicles will be restricted at camp.
Camp Kikthawenund does not provide lanterns, tents or other camping gear for Webelos Encampment. Each pack or den is expected to provide their own camping and cooking gear. We recommend you talk to the Boy Scout troop your Webelos Scouts cross over to for borrowing of equipment. If you need help, contact one of the people below.
Your Webelos Encampment fee pays the camp fee and for crafts, supplies, Encampment patches, meals for the volunteer staff, and more.
