West Haven Prevention Council Youth Committee Application
Thank you for your interest in serving on the West Haven Prevention Council as a Youth member for the 2023-24 year. We look forward to working together to find creative ways to prevent underage drinking, vaping and substance use in West Haven.

For the coming year, Youth Committee members are expected to:
 - Be active and provide leadership to the Council, the Youth Committee and West Haven youth.
 - Contribute ideas and discuss issues facing West Haven youth, specifically concerning substance use, underage drinking, vaping and mental health.
 - Members must be active on at least one campaign per year.

Youth Committee meetings are typically held once or twice a month, for 60 minutes (1 hour).  Weekly meetings may become necessary if working on a certain project/campaign.

*Any member who does not communicate with another Youth Committee member or staff within a 3 month period, may be removed from the West Haven Prevention Council's Youth Committee.
