Workshop on multicomponent and multiphase materials is organized as an activity of the Jindřich Nečas Center for Mathematical Modeling. The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers working in the field of multicomponent and multiphase materials both in mathematical modeling and mathematical analysis of the arising systems of partial differential equations.
The workshop will be held at the Mathematical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences on October 6-7 2011 in the Blue lecture hall.
Lectures will be delivered by Helmut Abels, Hans Wilhelm Alt, Eduard Campillo Funollet, Daniel Depner, Jens Frehse, Garald Garcke, Günther Grün, Martin Heida, Fabian Klingbeil, Pavel Krejčí, Josef Málek, Vít Průša, Ondřej Souček, Pavel Strachota and Gabriele Witterstein.
