The World's Fair 2018
Culminating in a week-long exposition, The World’s Fair brings people together to build utopia.

Musicians, galleries, hackers, organizers, poets, teachers, gardeners, and lovers of all kinds are invited to contribute ideas. The mission of the World’s Fair is to aggregate people’s plans to build a free world while creating a platform to amplify and support their effort. Whether they take the form of workshops, installations, performances, research projects, photo series, podcasts, or events, PERFORM/TRANSFORM projects model the future as we look to a world without money and borders.

Project proposals for the PERFORM/TRANSFORM Utopian Exposition (June 22-29) are now open. Regardless of their timeline, all projects will be presented in some form at the Expo. The Utopian Expo will take place in a variety of locations and venues in the Hyde Park area.

In the six months leading up to the Exposition, projects will be featured on the Fair's website and social media. Participants are invited to attend monthly meetups that facilitate resource-sharing, networking, and alliance-building. We encourage folks to use the World’s Fair as a time for preparing, building, and connecting.

Fill out the following questions with as much detail as possible, but if your proposal isn't fully figured out, that's ok! Just let us know what you're thinking.
