Drop-In Services

Our Drop-In Services are open to the public. You don't need to be a Coalition resident to access these crucial services.

Diversion Services

In order to ensure that shelter beds are utilized by those most in need, our Diversion Services help homeless individuals and families find housing options outside the homeless services system.

Housing Counselors can assist with conflict resolution and negotiations between clients and their family members, significant others, friends, or previous landlords in an effort to secure or restore immediate housing.

This program is provided in partnership with Orange County Government.

Community Dinner

Anyone in need of a nutritious meal is welcome to join us for dinner each night of the week.

Showers, Laundry and Mail

The Community Health Initiative offers shower and laundry facilities as well as mail service to unsheltered homeless men, women, and families.

This program is provided in partnership with the City of Orlando.

Jerrod

Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Jerrod found himself stranded and alone in downtown Orlando after a job opportunity fell through. "The first night, I slept outside behind a dumpster, and it was raining which made it hard."

After visiting the Coalition, he was referred to Diversion Services. His case manager, Stefanie, mediated a phone call with Jerrod's mother in Kansas City, who agreed to let him stay with her until he could get back on his feet. Stefanie also helped him secure a bus ticket to return home.

"A week ago, I thought I was completely down on my luck. Now, I’m able to go back home, and I even have another job lined up for me."
