Entertaining Angels: Stories of Everyday Angels Kindle Edition

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 ratings

Angels aren’t necessarily heavenly beings. We can experience them in
A random act of kindness
A helping hand
A nudge in a different direction
A stranger crossing one’s path
Or ….
There might just be a real angel in there somewhere.

Anne L Harvey has written many family and social history articles, all published in national magazines, before branching out into fiction. She has since written two family sagas, A Suitable Young Man and Bittersweet Flight and has successfully self-published both, a decision she has never regretted. She plans to continue writing in this same genre and already has readers waiting for book three!

A great stocking filler
5 out of 5 stars
A great stocking filler
(paperback edition) I bought this book because I knew I wouldn't have time to embark upon a full length novel as Christmas preparations become #1 priority for me. I started by 'dipping in' to the middle of the book to see where that took me. I immediately became immersed into a great collection of short stories and the card writing and cooking was abandoned. I think this book would be a great stocking filler for anyone who likes well-written, quirky stories with lots of heart. I've read the authors other books and am waiting for the third in the trilogy. PS - this book was be great read from a sunlounger with a glass of something cool by your side.

If you need a lovely book to read which you can put down now and again (although I found the stories addictive!) This book of short stories could be for you. They are all different, yet contain the same theme, of kindness to others.
I loved it and can thoroughly recommend it for a joyous, intriguing read ....
