DDOA fellows show off at Biggs Museum

Biggs Museum of American Art

Delaware Division of the Arts is celebrating its annual fellowship winners at the Biggs Museum in Dover.

The Award Winners XVII exhibition opened earlier this month, showcasing work from this year’s 18 fellowship winners.

Biggs Curator Ryan Grover said the local artists have their fingers on the First State’s artistic pulse.

"Because you’re really looking at the brightest, bravest, most recent work that’s being produced within the state."

The fellows will be honored with a reception August 30 at the museum.

Grover said the event will feature piano selections, play excerpts from and choreography presentations.

The Award Winners XVII exhibition runs through October 22 in Dover.

Delaware Public Media' s arts coverage is made possible, in part, by support from theDelaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
