Facilities must determine the county positivity rate to determine how to facilitate indoor visitation:

• If Nassau County’s COVID-19 positivity rate is lower than 5%, visitor testing is strongly encouraged.

• If between 5% and 10% visitors must present a negative COVID-19 test result dated within the past 72 hours of visit. Rapid tests are acceptable.

Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age and older.

Compassionate visits may be allowed under certain conditions.

We will continue to update with new information.
