An Update from Village Mercantile:

We pride ourselves on not inundating your inbox, however with all the craziness happening right now we had a few updates we felt we needed to get out to as many of our customers as possible. That includes changes to our chick pick-up procedure, changes in hours, a new Virtual Horses & Hot Dogs Workshop and a big change to our return policy.

As always, we appreciate your continued support and patience as we navigate this unchartered territory. We miss you all and can't wait until we are back to business as usual.

In the meantime, we are here for you with new curbside pick-up & delivery options to keep you safe!

Changes to Chick Policy

for April 16

Due to recent changes in store occupancy limits due to COVID-19 we have made a few changes for this delivery in order to keep everyone safe:

a. Only staff will be permitted to handle the chicks
b. Only 2 customers per group/household will be allowed in the store (however, we prefer to have only 1 person per household).
c. We are required to limit the number of customers in the store at any one time. We will have staff at the doors to facilitate this.

d. Limit of 5 chicks per group/household due to high demand.
d. Chicks are NOT available for curbside pick-up. We also cannot hold, reserve or pre-sell any chicks.

Please be patient, be kind, and keep social distancing in mind.

Our goal is to provide for you all and we are doing our best to bring in more chicks. We will continue to update you on Facebook, Instagram, and in-store flyers as soon as any news is available.
