The Mennonite Congregation of Boston

Overview:  We are a small, welcoming and affirming community that meets in-person every Sunday evening at 5:00 PM.  You do not need to be Mennonite to attend: our congregation holds a diversity of spiritual identities, denominations, and theologies.  Some congregants have dubbed us “faith explorers,” with a common appreciation for inquiry, honest questions, openness, hymn-singing, radical hospitality, and a commitment to peace and social justice.  Our services are informal and often planned by lay leadership.  Dress is informal as well, so come as you are. We hope to see you soon!

Where: The Mennonite Congregation of Boston (MCOB) meets at the Friends Meeting in Cambridge, located at 5 Longfellow Park in Cambridge, MA 02138.

When: We meet every Sunday evening from 5:00-6:30pm, with a few holiday exceptions.*

Get in touch: Contact us at 617-868-7784 or e-mail menncob@gmail.com if you have any questions about MCOB, would like to confirm our meeting schedule, would like to introduce yourself, or wish to Zoom into one of our in-person worship services (we can send you the link: hybrid worship is always available for people who are sick, isolating, or geographically distant)!

Our commitment: MCOB is a welcoming and affirming congregation. Everyone is valued, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.

* Holiday Exceptions: MCOB will not meet on the following Sundays during the 2023-2024 year: September 3 (Labor Day), November 26 (Thanksgiving), December 24 (Christmas Eve), December 31 (New Year’s Eve), February 11 (Su(p)per Bowl), March 17 (Winter Retreat), May 26 (Memorial Day)…
