Market Watch

US stocks were mixed in early Thursday trading as computer-related stocks continued to rise, but were offest by several retail companies warning of lower than expected earnings for the quarter. The Wired Index rose 2.55 to 616.89, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 49.17 to 9495.80, and the Nasdaq rose 1.15 to 2322.01.
