We are hosting an Empty Bowls Fundraiser for the YS Soup Kitchen, Who's Hungry?, on Thursday Dec 12, 5-8 pm, at the YS Senior Center (227 Xenia Ave). Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger, personalized by artists and art organizations on a community level. At the event, guests can opt for a bowl of soup, or make a sliding scale donation and choose a handmade bowl to use and keep as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world. YS Empty Bowls is grateful to collaborate with over 10+ local potters and 5+ local restaurants and chefs. Selection of bowls are first come first serve!
