The Kern County Black Chamber of Commerce, Kern County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Mid State Development Corporation, and the CSU Bakersfield Small Business Development Center (SBDC) come together to present a webinar on local, state and federal pandemic relief programs many of which do not require the funds to be repaid.
The webinar will focus on the reopening of Payroll Protection Program (PPP)forgivable loan program for new and second time borrowers in hard hit industries, the California Relief Grant program which provides up to $25,000 to qualified small businesses and expanding the SBA disaster loan program to include more direct grants up to $ 10,000. All info is very timely as the PPP for new businesses or non profit entities begins on Monday, the first round application period for the State relief grant ends on Wednesday, January 13th. The U.S. Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) grant program new funding allows small business up to a $ 10,000 grant will be opening shortly. The PPP can be entirely forgiven if the program regulations and spending requirements are met.
