The Israeli Solution, with Caroline Glick! 

Israeli Journalist Caroline Glick will be in the Bay Area for one night only! Come hear her talk about her new book, The Israeli Solution, which discusses an alternative to the "Two State Solution."

For the past twenty years, the two-state solution has been the centerpiece of U.S. Middle East policy. Despite this laser focus, all American efforts to implement a two-state peace deal have failed - and with each new attempt, the Middle East has become less stable, more violent, more radicalized, and more hostile to democratic values and interests.

Glick proposes something new and different: a one-state solution based on Israeli sovereignty in Samaria & Judea and extending full citizenship and civil rights to the Arabs living there. She shows how this would be a bold exercise in something otherwise sorely missing in the Middle East - democracy promotion. The Arab citizens of this expanded Israeli state would flourish as citizens in the only government that recognizes basic civil rights in the region. They would have a future as free people that is denied them under the tired rubric of the "two state solution."
