Anyone have a Rod Perry Auction cat 203 from 1999?
.
Anyone have a Rodney Perry Auction catalogue 203, from 1999?
I have some older ones but Murphy's Law of course ... not this one among them!
My much missed friend Rod of course had a set, but sadly those are now sold I understand.

Bought an Estate which had Perry invoices, and the relevant items still on Perry auction stockcards.
Have a few that I have no idea why, but $100s were paid for them, over 20 years back, so the key will be in Rod's lot description - thanks in advance!
Glen.

Superbo Rod ... can I please trouble you to scan or transcribe the wording for lot #309?
The three above were invoiced at about $A250, over 20 years back. WHY???
Three Airletters/Aerograms from oz Banks to Greece. One from Tenant Creek, Northern Territory. All with bank forms and receipts printed inside.
They are the unstamped FORMULAR types. Why banks used those I have no clue. And WHY would they sell for that?
Rod might have come up with some written reason these were scarce - I'd very gladly take half that, 21 years on, but this is not my field. (Stock 315AJL)

Glen.
The description will not be of any help.
That 6 letter word terminating the description was the clincher?

Superb .. many thanks Rod.
Dopey me had not even noticed the 2 pre-Decimals were from Darwin, so that is a big factor too I think.
PBR helpfully advises elsewhere the Central one, with 10d Queen, Approval Style 37 is not often seen - and that was not even illustrated in Perry sale cat. Anyway with an est $150, clearly there was a bit of bidding, even then, to get it to where it was sold at invoice $A250.
Added them to stock today for $150 (Stock 315AGL) ... a rather cool trio I think.
