Bellaire High School is hosting two upcoming debate tournaments that are offering contract judging positions...the 68th Annual Bellaire Forensic Tournament will be live at Bellaire High School October 6-7 ...the Bellaire TOC Public Forum tournament will be held at Bellaire High School November 3-5.  Any questions should be sent to NewBellaireDebate@gmail.com .

Payment is $175.00 for two days and $262.50 for three days (per tournament).  After submitting this form, you will receive email confirmation to verify your contract judge status.  Here is the schedule for this year's debate (it is possible to be placed in non debate rounds in times of judge shortage):

By completing and submitting this form you agree to the following:
1.  We plan to use electronic ballots from Tabroom.com for allrounds.  All contract judges will need a laptop or tablet to receive and complete ballots.  While it is possible to use a cell phone, it is not recommended.
2.  Click "Start Round" button on your electronic ballot no later than 5 minutes prior to the posted start time of the round.
3.  Conduct yourself in a professional manner around all contestants.  This includes no texting during rounds.
4.  Minimize oral critiques after rounds in order to keep the tournament on time.  Coaches prefer written comments.
5.  You will contact Mr. Stubbs at NewBellaireDebate@gmail.com  or text 281-704-7765 if an emergency occurs (PLEASE WRITE DOWN THIS CONTACT INFORMATION NOW in case you need to use it).  Failure to contact will mean a contract will not be granted in the future.
6.  In the case where rounds are full, you agree to judge rounds of other events if needed.
7.  Paperwork necessary to process payment will be emailed to you prior to the start of the tournament.  You agree to return all paperwork to NewBellaireDebate@gmail.com  prior to the tournament weekend.
