Clear Blue Sky Rally

Sanctioned by Texas Region SCCA

This will be a course-following and with an airplane theme. This road rally event, run at legal speeds in your own car, will not get you lost, but will show you some pretty roads in Dallas & Tarrant Counties that you may not have known about. Just bring yourself, a partner to drive or navigate, a full tank of gas, and a pencil.

Start/Registration: Cavanaugh Flight Museum, at 4572 Claire Chennault, Addison, TX 75001. In person registration opens at 9am. Novice Safety Briefing and Rally School at 9:45am, first car out at 10:30am.

Online registration (here at MotorsportReg.com) is recommended, because you will be mailed the rally rules a few days before the event.

End Location: Vintage Flying Museum, 505 NW 38TH ST. Hangar 33 South, Ft Worth, Texas 76106 (part of Meacham International Airport). Each finisher will have their picture taken, with their car, in front of a WWII B-17 bomber, on the tarmac at Meacham Field.

A road rally is not a contest of speed or racing. The challenge is to follow a prescribed course at legal speeds and to read signs and landmarks along the route to find answers to questions supplied by the organizers.

This is the fourth event in the 2010 Texas Region SCCA RoadRally Series,
a projected six event championship of entertaining road rallies.
