CHHS PTSA AWARD NOMINATIONS
FRIEND OF CHILDREN AWARD -- This award may be presented to anyone you would like to honor: an outstanding volunteer, teacher, principal, assistant principal, school staff member, school custodian, cafeteria employee, featured speaker, grandparents, business person or owner who continually supports CHHS, the students and/or our PTSA. This person does not have to be a PTSA member.

TEXAS PTA HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP AWARD – An Honorary Life Membership is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon an individual by the Texas PTA for outstanding contributions to the well-being of children and youth. This person must also be a member of the PTSA and support the Objectives of PTSA.

TEXAS PTA EXTENDED SERVICE AWARD – In 1987, the Texas PTA Board of Directors developed the criteria for awarding a Texas PTA Extended Service Award to those who have continued to give outstanding service to the Texas PTA. This recipient must have been actively involved in the Texas PTA for ten (10) years and be a Texas PTA Honorary Life Member recipient.

NATIONAL PTA LIFE ACHIEVEMENT AWARD -- the highest honor from the nation’s largest child advocacy organization—to the person who daily lives out his or her commitment to children.

Nomination forms must be submitted by April 11, 2025 by 11:59pm.  

Awards will be presented at the PTSA General Meeting on May 6th.
