International Student Welcome 2023

Are you arriving in Cambridge as an international student this autumn? We'd love to meet you and welcome you to the city! Here are some ways we can help as you move to Cambridge: 1. We are offering a buddy system. Your buddy is a person who could email you and answer your questions about being a student in Cambridge. 2. We will also be holding a programme of welcome events for internationals so check out the ISW facebook page www.facebook.com/cambridgeISW and website cucgs.soc.srcf.net/isw/ or follow us on Instagram at www.instagram.com/isw_cambridge! 3. We can send you a Welcome booklet (to your college) with useful info about Cambridge 4. We may have some 'Welcome bags' with some useful bits for your kitchen. Who are we? We are a group of friendly people who already know Cambridge and cannot think of a greater privilege than to warmly welcome new internationals to this ancient university town. We are Christians in Cambridge who would simply love to help out, answer questions, or just be there as a friend, whatever your background or your beliefs. ISW is run by the Cambridge University Christian Graduate Society with the help of Friends International and the Cambridge Inter-collegiate Christian Union and local churches.
