Residents in Chessington have only one public view left of the amazing countryside to the south, as all other views are blocked by housing.  This remaining view will be spoiled if the former Chessington Golf Club is built on at the south eastern side.

Come and visit the viewpoint, accessed from a path which runs from Green Lane, running alongside Hunting Gate Drive and finishing at Garrison Lane near Chessington South Station.  Watch this beautiful short video to have a preview!

The viewpoint looks out towards the site of a Roman Villa and the hunting grounds of King Henry VIII, as well as the distant Surrey Hills.  Sign the petition for Kingston Council to designate it as a protected view and ensure the foreground provides a natural setting.
