Cultural Connections Series - Fall 2021
The Cultural Connections Series is a drop-in discussion group that provides a safe and private space for students to share their cross-cultural experiences, to discuss their concerns, and to support each other throughout the adjustment process. ALL STUDENTS ARE WELCOME!

There will be two workshops in Fall 2021:
1) Adjusting to My New Life at UCI
Topics will include:
-Balancing Academics & Social Life in-person and in-zoom in a New Normal
-Making New Friends
-Roommate Conflicts
LOCATION: BOARD ROOM @ CROSS-CULTURAL CENTER

2) Global Beauty Standards & Body Image
Topics will include:
-Beauty Standards in your Culture
-Body Image Influences and How it Affects You
-Being Mindful and Tips to Improve Body Image
LOCATION: RING ROOM @ CROSS-CULTURAL CENTER

Time: 4pm-5pm
BOTH WORKSHOPS WILL BE IN-PERSON.
