Beginning Band
Rising 5th or 6th Grade Beginning Band Instrument Placement
Rising 5th students attending a Spartanburg School District Six school will be able to join the Beginning Band and learn the following instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Sax, Trumpet, and Trombone! Along with the Percussion (Drums and Bells). If you have questions, please email Mr. Bruce [email protected]. Include in the email your students first/last name and the school they attend!
Joining the Beginning Band is fun! In 5th Grade Beginning Band meets twice a week for 60 minutes and in 6th Grade Beginning Band is taught everyday! Both levels are taught by our highly skilled and dedicated Band Directors!
All safety guidelines and procedures will be in places as we help students get placed on instruments during the spring and summer months! We start Beginning Band during the first week of school!
