Centro Legal de la Raza's Diversity Legal Pipeline - Summer 2018
Thank you for your interest in Centro Legal de la Raza: Diversity Legal Pipeline! The Diversity Legal Pipeline (DLP) will serve undergraduate students from disadvantaged backgrounds in the San Francisco Bay Area. The DLP has a proactive approach  to encourage undergraduate students of color to gain a better understanding of the law school application process, LSAT exam overview, a simulated law class, presentation on careers in Law, a law school and law firm visit, and several attorney panels. The DLP is the next phase of the Youth Law Academy to assist undergraduate students navigate the law school application process.

There is no cost to participate in the Diversity Legal Pipeline!

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE (UPDATE):
The 2018 DLP will be held in Downtown Oakland near Lake Merritt. We will serve breakfast and coffee starting at 8:30am each day and the program will officially start at 9am. The program will end at 4:30 pm each day. Wednesday's schedule is different to accommodate a trip to San Francisco: On Wednesday we will meet at Fruitvale BART station at 8:00 to travel to San Francisco and we will end the program at 6pm in the city.

 CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

1) Candidate must have completed at least two years of community college or university at the time of application. All College graduates are encouraged to apply.

2). Open to all regardless of citizenship.

3). Must reside in California. Priority will be given to those currently attending a community college or university in the San Francisco Bay Area.

4). Must attend the entire week of program from July 9, 2018 to July 13, 2018.

5). APPLY BY 5PM, SUNDAY, MAY 13, 2018.
