Permission to Use Photographs and Student (art) Work
During the course of the academic year, the Dutch School Silicon Valley may wish to place photographs of class and school activities (in which DSSV students and/or DSSV families participate) on the password protected parent-page of the school (http://www.dutchschoolsiliconvalley.org/parents/blog/), on the password protected DSSVfotos-onedrive-website (http://onedrive.live.com), in the DSSV newspapers, or on the DSSV Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/dutchschool). The passwords of the parent-page and the dssvfotos-onedrive change yearly (so only current DSSV families, staff and board members have access to it) . The DSSV newspapers will only be emailed out to then current DSSV families, staff and board members. The DSSV Facebook page is public and not password protected.

DSSV may also wish to put DSSV student (art)work on the password protected parent-page of the school (http://www.dutchschoolsiliconvalley.org/parents/blog/) or in the DSSV newspapers.

We strive towards scheduling students with the same age (grade), language skills, and background in the same time slot. Making the best possible schedule is quite a challenge. Your co-operation/flexibility is appreciated.

Payment
Due to the discontinuation of the subsidy from the Dutch government and rising costs in the SF Bay Area, the DSSV is forced to slightly raise our tuition. Tuition for the 2016 - 2017 schoolyear will be $420 per trimester per child. There also is an additional obligatory event-contribution of $30 per child. First installment (Sept, Oct, Nov) is due before September 1, 2016
Second installment (Dec, Jan, Feb) is due on December 1, 2016
Third installment (March, April, May) is due on March 1, 2017

Discount policy
For families with 3 children enrolled in our program, we offer a 50% discount on the tuition of the third child.

Payment options
The Dutch School Silicon Valley offers the following payment options. Please include your children’s names with your payment. Online payments are preferred (option 1 & 2).

Note: When using PayPal/credit card for payment, you are responsible for paying the processing fees. Hence, "tuition" amounts using PayPal/credit card are slightly higher than invoiced.

Cancellation
Admittance to the school takes place for the duration of the entire school year. When cancelling, a written notice has to be given 30 days (a month) in advance by emailing the director and board of the school (wieneke@dutchschoolsiliconvalley.org + bestuur@dutchschoolsiliconvalley.org).
