In addition to clinics, training and orientation sessions, I understand that I will be expected to spend approximately two hours prior to each clinic communicating with clients, researching topics, and communicating with my lawyer mentor about upcoming client sessions. I also agree to submit a report summarizing my experience at the end of the term.

I understand that 1) Law student volunteers will receive training on conducting client interviews, and must receive such training before interacting with clients. 2) Law students may be asked to obtain and review client-supplied materials in advance, conduct client intake interviews, and perform preliminary research re issues presented. 3) The level of participation in counseling sessions is expected to vary according to year (1L, 2L, etc.) and individual skill level. *
