A total of 789 family teams signed up for the competition this year. 26 teams from three categories were shortlisted at the Preliminary Round, and Winners were selected at the Grand Finals on 24 May 2025.

Participation Criteria and Categories
- Parent(s) and/or grandparents(s) and child(ren) must form a team. Each team is to comprise a minimum of two, OR up to a maximum of four members.
- Participating children will have to be between five and 12 years of age. For any other participating children below five years of age, their performance will not be graded.
- All participants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
The Competition will feature three categories. If you are signing up with more than one child, please register according to the age of the elder/eldest child.

Preliminary Round & Grand Finals
Teams will put up a four-minute performance in Mandarin based on the theme "Our City, Our Stories” at the Preliminary Round on 5 April 2025.

Workshop Sessions for Shortlisted Finalists (only)
To help shortlisted finalist teams prepare for the Grand Finals, workshop sessions will be conducted in-person. During the workshops, trainers will share basic and useful performing techniques such as voice projection and stage presence.
