France early collection 1849 to 1922 on original old 100 year old 'MARY - PARIS' album pages, Mint and used. Many of the mint are fine **MUH** original gum - even the high cat items. France retail for those, are the same premiums as early Roos - 300%-400% higher than hinged. SG cat £3,325 = $A6,600.
Genuine untouched collection formed in France, and not seen for near 100 years - never been on the market before - from the family Estate. Collector seemed to attempt to get one of each, in as good condition as he could afford.
Some small issues here and there of course from this era, but many are superb - indeed MUH - above average type fresh condition across the range. Only 15% of SG at $995 or $US695 ... and a large premium is necessary for the MUH 19tth Century.
