Our Story
As a Catholic community in faith, St. John the Baptist is dedicated to being good stewards of our children's future. Our motto is “Growing in Mind, Body and Soul with Jesus” and we take this very much to heart as we integrate Catholic identity into our school curriculum and community. We strive to bring Christ’s teachings into every aspect of St. John the Baptist’s life. We are a diverse school and we thrive in that diversity, aiming to be examples of Christ’s love and light to each other. Our goal is to provide a strong moral and academic environment that enables every child to achieve success. We recognize that every child is a gift from God who deserves to be loved and accepted as the person God made them to be. We provide a safe and supportive learning environment to engage students to become responsible leaders with a strong foundation in faith. We provide and encourage opportunities for our students to help their immediate community with missions in association with the Southern York Food Pantry which is housed on our campus. We strive to have each child embody the teachings of Christ and demonstrate that love and learning to those around them. Please help continue our mission.
