Horizons Atlanta at Georgia Tech is a transformational, community-centered, summer learning program proven to close the opportunity gap. 

We partner with communities, families, students, and educators to create the opportunities that every child in metro Atlanta needs for success today and in the future.

We’re hard at work preparing for Summer 2025, and we can’t wait to welcome our students and families for 6 weeks of joyful learning! Your donation on Horizons Giving Day will give us the resources to support a one-of-a-kind summer experience for our students.

Last year Horizons Atlanta at Georgia Tech supported 242 scholars, providing academic growth, social-emotional learning and confidence building.

Now more than ever, students need the support Horizons Atlanta at Georgia Tech provides. On average, students are 4-5 months behind in reading and math as a result of the pandemic. These challenges are multiplied for students from communities experiencing educational inequity. Horizons programming is proven to reverse learning loss and accelerate academic gains – students experience an average of 6–10-week gains in reading and math over the course of a summer with Horizons.

Horizons Atlanta depends on the support of generous donors in order to provide our programs tuition-free for students who wouldn’t otherwise have access to enriching summer learning experiences.
