Just because we’re socially distanced doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy watching civically-minded cinema together--it's just on Zoom now. We bet there are a ton of films you’ve always wanted to see and haven’t had time or energy for. Well, now’s the time. And it’s ALWAYS more interesting to watch films like this together so we can discuss the issues and ideas raised and the implications they have for building better civil society.
We'll meet on the second Sat of each month--our next screening is Sat, Sept 18-- to watch and discuss a film crowdsourced and voted on by YOU. We'll show the film through Zoom so you can watch it for free if it's not publicly available. Here's what to do
1) Look through this month's nominees below and let us know your top choices
2) By Friday, we'll announce the winner and details about that Saturday night's showing on social media and email
3) Tune in via
https://zoom.us/s/7569852746 (password: VOTE) on Sat at 8PM ET to watch the chosen film followed by discussion
Also, please peruse our running list of films at
https://tinyurl.com/NGPSocialCinemaClub and add any films not on there that you think should be.
