Next Gen Politics Summer Civic Fellowship 2024
Thank you for your interest in participating in our Next Generation Politics Summer Civic Fellowship! Next Gen Politics aims to empower the next generation (YOU!) to make informed decisions, be active citizens, make sense of the current political climate, and get involved. This program is designed to engage motivated, civically-minded teens like you who are interested in developing your civic knowledge and skills through engaging with a broad array of perspectives, including those different than your own.

Over the course of the summer, we'll participate monthly on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30PM ET from Wed, July 10 - Aug 14 (6 weeks) on Zoom for civic conversations on critical issues of our time--criminal justice, freedom of expression, immigration, voting rights, structural racism, media literacy, and more--with engaging keynote speakers followed by in-depth peer led conversations.

Please do not use ChatGPT or any AI for this application--we want to know what's important to YOU and YOUR thoughts about these issues

To be considered as a Summer Civic Fellow, please fill out this application at your earliest convenience--the priority deadline is Tues, May 21 and the final deadline is Fri, June 21. Applicants will be accepted on a rolling basis. If you have any questions, contact Sanda at Sanda@yvoteny.org
